iJaipuria teachers are working professionals, experts, and subject matter enthusiasts. But as long as your course adheres to our guidelines, it can be published on our platform. Furthermore, there is no cost to publishing your course.

You can register as a iJaipuria instructor by just filling up a form. Once you have completed the form, you will be redirected to the instructor dashboard. Here you can answer a few questions, fill in your course details and upload your demo video.

There is no fee to be an instructor on iJaipuria. Instead, instructors are paid according to the revenue sharing model.

No approval is needed to get started. However, before an instructor can publish a course on the iJaipuria marketplace, they need to complete the instructor identity verification process.

To create paid courses, instructors will need to set up a payment method for their accounts.

Yes. Courses must have at least 30 minutes of video content and at least five lectures or learning modules.

To ensure that students have great learning experiences, we also have a Quality Review Process that every course goes through.

  • Instructors Obligation:
    As an instructor, you are responsible for all content you post, including lectures, quizzes, practice tests, assignments, resources, answers, course landing page content, assessments, and announcements. In short all the Submitted Content. Also, refer to the Prerequisites section for more information.

  • Updating These Terms:
    From time to time, we may update these Terms to clarify our practices or reflect new or different practices (such as when we add new features), and iJaipuria reserves the right to modify and/or make changes at its sole discretion these Terms at any time. If we make any material change, we will notify you using prominent means such as by email notice sent to the email address specified in your account or by posting a message through our Services. 
Privacy:
  • License to iJaipuria:
    We may record and use all or any part of your Submitted Content for quality control and for delivering, marketing, promoting, demonstrating, or operating the Services. You grant iJaipuria permission to use your name, likeness, voice, and image in connection with the offering, delivering, marketing, promoting, demonstrating, and selling the Services, your Submitted Content, or iJaipuria’s content. In addition, you waive any rights of privacy, publicity, or other rights of a similar nature, to the extent permissible under applicable law.

  • Relationship to other users:
    Instructors don’t have a direct contractual relationship with students, so the only information you’ll receive about students is what is provided to you through the Services. You agree that you will not use the data you receive for any purpose other than providing your services to those students on the iJaipuria platform and that you won’t solicit additional personal data or store students’ personal data outside the iJaipuria platform. You agree to indemnify iJaipuria against any claims arising from your use of students’ personal data.
Title & Content:
  • Decide your course topic and language
  • The first step is to identify the course and the language in which you want to teach
  • With our platform, you are getting a chance to showcase your skills and teach in the language that you are comfortable with
Content Edit & Update:
  • You have the right to remove all or any portion of your Submitted Content from the Services at any time
  • Except as otherwise agreed, iJaipuria’s right to sublicense the rights in this section will terminate with respect to new users 60 days after the Submitted Content’s removal
  • You are obliged to update the content from time to time as per requirement
Content Copyrights
  • You own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, permissions, and authority to authorise iJaipuria to use your Submitted Content as specified.
  • Your Submitted Content will not infringe or misappropriate any third party’s intellectual property rights
  • You grant iJaipuria the rights detailed in terms of use to offer, market, and otherwise exploit your Submitted Content. This includes the right to add captions or otherwise modify Submitted Content to ensure accessibility.
  • You also authorise iJaipuria to sublicense these rights to your Submitted Content to third parties, including to students directly and through third parties such as resellers, distributors, affiliate sites, deal sites, and paid advertising on third-party platforms.
Minimum Requirements
  • Video shot in high definition (HD) at a resolution of 720p minimum or 1080p maximum 
  • Video with clear lighting, good framing, and a steady camera
  • Audio that comes out of both channels and matches video
  • Audio with no distracting noises
Video
  • The video should be recorded in landscape mode, not in vertical mode
  • The aspect ratio of your video needs to be 16:9 
  • The subject of the video should be in the middle of the shot or on the sides using the rule of thirds. Don’t be too far away from the camera or too close. Do not put the camera too high over your head or too far below your face
  • Make sure your camera is steady. Use a tripod or put your camera on a steady surface. Don’t try and hold the camera yourself
  • Try out natural light. Sit by a window where the light hits you from the front or from the side and not from behind you.  If natural is not enough, then try adding lamps and lights that are available

  • Make sure your external microphone is plugged in correctly to your video recording equipment
  • Don’t be too close or far away from the microphone, for best results speak at a distance of 6-12 inches (about 15-30 centimeters) from the mic
  • Be clear, loud, and direct

Choose the right location
  • Quite, free from distraction
  • Avoid cluttered backgrounds
Find the best lighting
  • If you’re using the natural light make sure you always face the windows
  • If you’re using artificial lighting always place lights at eye level and avoid overhead lighting
Consider acoustics of the room
  • Choose a smaller room
  • Use soft surfaces. It will help in absorbing the sound
Camera Placement
  • Sit about 2-3 feet away from the device
  • Place the camera at your eye level
  • Look directly at your camera

Promotions:
When you sign a contract with us, you would be deemed to be part of the iJaipuria Promotion and Deals program. Under this, iJaipuria will offer your content to students at a discounted price from time to time. In addition, it is a tool for instructors to help maximise their revenue potential on iJaipuria 

Revenue Share:
When a student purchases your Submitted Content, we calculate the gross amount of the sale as the amount received by iJaipuria from the student. From this, we subtract any Transaction Taxes, any mobile platform fees applied to mobile provider checkout sales, a service, and a processing fee for any non-mobile provider checkout sales. If you are collaborating with other instructor’s then you will have to mention the revenue sharing percentage as well.

  • Sales that do not occur through an instructor promotion
    Instructors receive 50% of the revenue for any iJaipuria sales where no instructor coupon or course referral link was used. These sales might occur after users click on an iJaipuria advertisement or browse the iJaipuria marketplace for courses.
  • Sales occurring through instructor promotionsInstructors receive 80% of the revenue when the student purchases their content using an instructor’s coupon or referral link.

Coupons and Referral Link:
The iJaipuria platform allows you to generate coupon codes and referral links to offer certain items of your Submitted Content to students at a discount, at iJaipuria’s current price, or for free, as permitted within the Services. These coupon codes and referral links are subject to limits, and you may not sell them on third-party websites or otherwise offer them in exchange for compensation.

Payments:

Here are the steps involved in iJaipuria’s payment schedule for instructors

  • As an instructor, a contract is signed with iJaipuria.
  • The instructor’s paid course is submitted for review and published on iJaipuria. 
  • The Joining Bonus would be credited to the instructor’s account once the course is live on the iJaipuria platform.
  • If your course receives paid enrollments in the first month, student fees are transferred to iJaipuria, and it deducts transaction taxes and other fees from that amount as listed in the Instructor Terms.
  • Months 1 & 2: iJaipuria processes refunds, corrections, and other adjustments.
  • Month 3: iJaipuria pays instructor [(total Month 1 student payments after applicable deductions – total refunds) x % revenue share]. 
  • Expected payment dates and the payment amount for a specific month are posted on your Revenue Report. All payments to instructors are from iJaipuria.
Refunds:
  • You acknowledge and agree that students have the right to receive a refund. Instructors will not receive any revenue from transactions for which a refund has been granted under the Terms of Use.
  • If a student asks for a refund after we have paid the relevant instructor payment. In that case, we reserve the right to 
  • Deduct the amount of the refund from the following payment sent to the instructor

  • where no further payments are due to the instructor or the payments are insufficient to cover the refunded amounts, require the instructor to refund any charges refunded to students for the instructor’s Submitted Content.

Solve Students Queries:
You are obliged to answer queries from students concerning your course as and when they are asked. The questions not necessarily should be answered immediately, but ideally, you should respond within 24-48 hours.

As an instructor, you are responsible for all content you post, including lectures, quizzes, practise tests, assignments, resources, answers, course landing page content, assessments, and announcements. In short all the Submitted Content.

  • You will provide and maintain accurate account information;
  • You own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, permissions, and authority to authorise iJaipuria to use your Submitted Content as specified in these Terms and the Terms of Use;
  • Your Submitted Content will not infringe or misappropriate any third party’s intellectual property rights;
  • You have the required qualifications, credentials, and expertise (including education, training, knowledge, and skill sets) to teach and offer the services that you provide through your Submitted Content and use of the Services; and
  • You will ensure a quality of service that corresponds with the standards of your industry and instruction services in general.
  •  
  • Post or provide any inappropriate, offensive, racist, hateful, sexist, pornographic, false, misleading, incorrect, infringing, defamatory, or libelous content or information;
  • Post or transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, or any other form of solicitation (commercial or otherwise) through the Services or to any user;
  • Use the Services for business other than providing tutoring, teaching, and instructional services to learners;
  • Engage in any activity that would require us to obtain licenses from or pay royalties to any third party, including the need to pay royalties for the public performance of a musical work or sound recording;
  • Impersonate another person or gain unauthorised access to another person’s account;
  • Interfere with or otherwise prevent other Instructors from providing their services or content; or
  • Abuse iJaipuria resources, including support services.
