Result Orientation
Result orientation is a critical competency of becoming an effective leader. A leader drives the vision of the organization and formulates the right strategy to get the desired results. But how does a leader drive results in an organization? How does a leader measure results? How does the leader use innovative mindset to drive results? What are the essential characteristics of a result oriented leader? What prevents result orientation? All these aspects are answered in this module. The module also gives an insight into Balanced Scorecard, which is a strategic management performance tool to identify and improve various internal business functions and their results. The result oriented leadership is also showcased with a case on GE. On Indian front, the result oriented leadership is also highlighted with examples of Reliance, Titan, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank and so on.
