Leadership and delegation go hand in hand. It is almost impossible to be a good leader without acquiring delegation skills. Delegation is not merely handing over tasks to people, who work for you. It is more of sharing responsibilities and authority, while still being accountable for the outcome of the task.
To be a good leader, one has to be able to balance between delegation and empowerment. The role of a leader is not simply to get the tasks done, but also to instill leadership skills in their subordinates.
Once you empower your subordinates, they in turn, gain confidence. This confidence leads to honing their leadership skills. This course lays out the critical steps in delegation, what you should and should not delegate, how to empower people for excellence, challenges in delegation and empowerment and how to be a better leader.
